Michael was a poor little soul trapped in his own body. He had a great mind and flair for blending all the visual senses into a heightened state of entertainment. But when he came off the stage, he had to face and deal with life.

These days, we will all feel a little more of what Michale felt, as the world continues to become a harder and colder place. We should pick on on what John (Lennon) started so long ago and what Yoko seems to be keeping alive here.

Give it a chance, it will happen,

What an opening of the Montreal’s Jazz Festival last night, Stevie Wonder honoring Michael Jackson, saying his dear friend should be remembered for his musical greatness.
The heavy rain posed so the concert could start at 10 pm. We knew Michael was there with over 100,000 of us.
We heard Stevie said “Michael knows that I’m here and I love you”. We were all together singing and dancing through the night.
We didn’t want it to be over. Surprisingly, the magic kept on with colorful fireworks and soft music and when they were over, it was another day.

A succinct and real tribute. Your words capture perfectly how he strived to be loved. His fragile nature was often misunderstood. The overwhelming collective memory will be of his music which was passionate and strong.
