There was this astonishingly beautiful and moving song at the London Festival Hall Plastic Ono Band gig this summer: Yoko singing with Sean at the piano. It was called “I’m Going Away Smiling” and it’s on the new album (which I have, of course, ordered) but 21st September is way too long to have to wait to hear that song again. So please put a version of it somewhere on this or the chimera site to keep me going while I wait for the album… and to let others hear it who weren’t lucky enough to be at the gig. That performance was filmed so it would be great to know if it’s going to be released on DVD some time. If not, please post a video of ‘I’m Going Away Smiling’ on youtube or one of your sites. And, to those of you who don’t yet know this song, you’re in for a treat.
