Thank you so much for sharing this Yoko. You are a great writer. Witty and so clever! You drew me in to your world for a moment, and had me reminising about doing those things myself. It is amazing how we humans are so much the same, we just forget that sometimes. We live in the same world, and just need to keep remembering that. I look up to you so much. We are so lucky to have you sharing peace on earth.

What a fun exercise. Honestly, reading it made me both smile and tear up. It was like reading my own heart and quirkiness spilled out onto the page. It is no mystery why John loved you so. This reminded me of how perfectly Allan and I fit (and how much I would suffer at his loss) – our unique way of looking at the world and interacting with each other… how I battle all the perceptions of beauty that the culture needles us with, and how Allan insists that this grandma of three is perfectly lovely.

I look forward to your birthday party at LPR, glad to celebrate that the world has spent one more year in the company of such a delightful soul. Because of you, I know that one woman’s heart can change the world.

Two things everyone knows about me…..
-John and The Beatles have been one the most influential forces in my life (I am 48….)
-John’s passing still affects me deeply

Three things no one knows about me….
-”Strawberry Fields Forever” is the song I most identify with
-I have admired you from the start…. and always felt that if John loved you, so should we…
-I’m so glad the first thing John saw from you was “yes”
