you are water
I’m water
we’re all water in different containers
that’s why it’s so easy to meet
someday we’ll evaporate together

but even after the water’s gone
we’ll probably point out to the containers
and say, “that’s me there, that one.”
we’re container minders

This container here feels a little restless today.

I miss some kind of “That’s All Folks” closing.

    Detrich is still away.
He’s involved in a struggle now to stay out of a container. His postcard this morning says “tell Yoko she forgets. We are all water from different rivers that’s why its so easy too meet. We are the world we are the children”
Now we know detrich. He doesn’t mind cupboards. Just so long as he gets the room to lie down and takes in enough food to sustain him during his stay. We’ve told you that before. But he draws the line at containers. he sees them as being small scale. Suffocating. Bad definitions for who we are.
Detrich’s postcard ends. Recite a lyric in your mind all day or until too long and too late for you to even question your sanity container minders.

How do our containers manage to contain our souls? I think our souls must love water. I can stare at the sea for hours. I love the smell of rain. Cold water feels so good going down my throat, and snow tastes good. Fog is magical and it excites me! Maybe our souls are actually made of water.
Yoko- I think we must have been made to mind containers. We mind our homes, our cars, our refridgerators, our drawers and cupboards, our memory boxes, our gifts come in boxes and we work in cubicles. But how funny it is how we are always trying to “think outside of the box,” a statement that admits that people are container minders.
One thing I wish people would spend more time containing would be aids, malaria, cancer, war, and devistation. Creating and minding those containers are so very important!!
    Love to you all!

We all form one cloud in the end…

  13. William Concannon says:

Yes, that container, right there, that’s me, not the former contents. It’s that container and what it owns and earns that is really me.
Oh, but the container is empty, you say?
    Yeah, but – I mean – hmmmmmm.

Hey, let’s all do the evaporation dance!

  15. Lilly's Life says:

‘We’re container minders’ – thats the most profound thing I have ever seen written. It says everything. About everything. We need to focus on the contents, the heart, the guts of everything. We all come from the same pool. Lets stop compating containers.
Thanks for those wise words Yoko.
