John Lennon Day in NYC – Yoko, Bono & The Edge unveil a tapestry honouring John Lennon

YOKO ONO, U2’s Bono & The Edge unveil a tapestry of JOHN LENNON and New York City by Peter Sis, commissioned by Amnesty International, exhibited at Ellis Island, New York.

The City of New York, Mayor Bill de Blasio and NY City Council’s speaker Melissa Mark-Viverito declared today July 29th, 2015 to be ‪#‎JohnLennonDay‬
V. Bozeman sang a stunning rendition of ‘Stand By Me’.
They were joined by Salil Shetty, secretary general of Amnesty International and Nadja from Pussy Riot and an invited audience.
