Hearts Towada Exhibition
29 April – 15 May 2011
We would like to express our profound sympathy and condolences to the victims of the Great East Japan Earthquake. We sincerely hope that the damaged area will be restored as soon as feasible, and we will also do our best to help revive the regions through the activities of the support project “Hearts Towada Project,” which the Towada Art Center and the Towada citizens have been working on.
Towada Art Center would like to announce the special exhibition as one the related activities of Hearts Towada Project. This exhibition will consist of artworks by the participating artists of Arts Towada/Towada Art Center gathered from all over the world for this exhibition.
During the exhibition period, donation boxes will be placed in the center and all the fund raised at the venue will be sent to the stricken areas through the Community Chest Movement. After the exhibition period, some of the artworks from this exhibition will be on sale at the museum shop for charity fund raising and all sales proceeds will be donated to the disaster areas in Japan.
We are sincerely looking forward to your visit and cooperation.
