We would like to pray for the safety of all, and express our deepest compassion for those who have been affected by the earthquake in the Tohoku region.

After the March 11 earthquake and tsunami disaster, we have been thinking of the most effective ways to help the victims in East Northern Japan.

To begin with, immediately after the day of the disaster, we, as the gallery, made a donation of JPY500,000 to the Japanese Red Cross. As day goes by, we found out that there are many artists who are eager to help the victims to make their current living conditions better.

Then, we came up with this idea of ‘Silent Art Auction in Kiyosumi for East Northern Japan’.
This is organized by eight galleries in Kiyosumi Gallery Complex with the support by participating artists to raise money for the victims.
The whole sales of the works by the supporting artists is to be donated to Japan Platform.
