What was your reaction when John said that you have a baby boy during hours after Sean was born?
Is that true when Sean as a newborn baby, he did not have a crib instead he slept between you and John in bed?
We already knew that Sean will be a boy and more, by a reading. The reading showed that he was a boy who brings sunshine to life.
Sean slept in a small cardboard box for apples between the two of us.

Thinking back to “Cut Piece,” what are three emotions that you remember vividly?
I loved being in a dimension of spirit which was not of the EArth Planet. I cannot separate the emotions in three as you wish.
Mery McNett @Mery_Artist
I’m a teacher of a multi-disciplinary art programme for kids & I use you as an example. What would you say is your favourite medium? Performance? Music? Found object?
All of it and more.
Kelsey Ramsden @KelseyRamsden
What do you think is the most valuable lesson to teach your sons & daughters? I am a mom of 3…
Love and express your love. It will teach them what they should learn.
Ria Prabal @housylousy
Did you visit India? As your ideas on Karma etc. are very Indo-Buddhist in concept
I have visited India. Indo-Buddhist in concept, as you say, is everywhere on earth. Not just in India..

YO: “When two wish in unison, the wish will come true. But then there are two karmic pasts which must be cleared. That takes time.”
How did you discover this truth in your own life?
I feel good about breathing life and going forward with passion. Being alive supercedes any karmic debt. Love conquers all.
Benjamin Schoenfeld @BenjyRyan95
what is the most important aspect of your life?
Health, both mntal and physical.
Jonathan Sloman @SquidyUK
You and John met Dick Cavett a number of times. Both were witty men – did they get on well offscreen? Any memories?
I’m not going to write a book for your benefit. Write your own about your life. We were friends. That says it all.
GhostTroubleJoe @GhostTroubleJoe
First, I laughed when I read John call your nieces the Japanieces. My question: how do you manage your time/priorities?
When you repeat it on paper like that, it even sounds like some kind of racism. John loved his nieces. So he could say something like that in fun. I don’t manage my time priorities. Priorities manage me.
Claudia @Claudii_94
In one week I’ll be 18. How did you feel when your childhood ended?
Is still has not ended.
Michael Schafer
Thanks for doing this, Yoko! Your thoughts contain a beautiful balance between the inspirational and the realistic. I have been having fears lately that I will never truly “succeed” in my art, at least in terms of being able to support myself financially, which leads to some self-doubt and insecurity. Any advice?
The worth of your art could never be measured in money. Just be thankful if you receive money for giving your art. Don’t think of making a living by it. If you did, you will always find you need more money than what you’ve received.

There’s been a lot of entertaining questions so I hope mine doesn’t seem ordinary… people assume you have all the material things you could ever want, but is there still a dream of yours that remains yet unfulfilled? Best wishes to you, Ed
I hope to stay on Earth Planet until I feel fullfilled. I would like to stay healthy and see that life brings smile to people’s hearts.
Jennifer Hill
what can i do for my beautiful japanese mother on her birthday?
Understand her. And let her know that you do.
ChristinaGarza AlwayzDancin Mathematician
I used to be a dancer and then I gained weight. How can I regain the discipline I lost? I miss my passion to dance.
Stay with your passion to dance. Don’t give up. Then your body will slowly accomodate your wises. Not giving up is the key.
Mandy Mcintosh
YO: “When two wish in unison, the wish will come true. But then there are two karmic pasts which must be cleared. That takes time.”
If there are two karmic pasts to be cleared are these two parallel solitary tasks, or a collaboration?
You collaborate in the present with passion, and the past karma will disappear without you trying.
Angela Reynolds
Where does the Dub-Dub train go?
Nowhere. And that’s a very beautiful place to go.
Wesley Patton
Could you explain sonic telepathy, from what you have seen and created, how would you put that into words? Thankyou, xoxo Wes
If you can put it in words, that is verbal telepathy not sonic.
Patty Poet
I have been reciting my poetry to people for 30 years I have them memorized even though I don’t have a published book, do you feel I have helped this world in any way?
Son’t force them to memorize, and your poetry will keep expanding.
Natalie Marie Ogburn
My best friend is leaving for the army in July. What can I do?

YOKO, THIS MAN Jacque Fresco’s, HAS DEDICATIED HIS WHOLE LIFE TO A NEW WORLD FOR US TO LIVE IN PEACE, BUT NO ONE IN THE USA WILL LISTEN OR LOOK AT HIS ART AND DREAMS CAUSE OF HIS EDUCATION.” IMAGINE” IS WHAT HE IS ALL ABOUT AND HOPEFULLY WITH YOUR HELP SOMEONE WILL LISTEN TO HIS WONDERFUL AND AMAZING IDEAS! PLEASE TAKE THE TIME TO LOOK OVER HIS WEBSITE AND YOU WILL SEE WHY I FEEL THIS MAN JUST WANTS TO MAKE THE WORLD A BETTER PLACE, JUST AS YOU AND I DO. I LOVE YOU FOR LOVING ALL OF US, AND I AM GRATEFUL FOR ALL THAT YOU AND JOHN DO TO SEARCH FOR PEACE FOR ALL OF US!
Thank you so much for answering my question Yoko
Joseph Martin john is a light that will never go out for all you need is love will continue to feed this light
he was a poet, songwriter, composer, a father, a champion for peace but most of all he was just a man. unlike paul m. he could feel and write a…bout pain and longing and reach the depths of dispair and somehow it was beautiful Help i need somebody, so i sing a song of love for julia, mother you had me but i never had you, women you understand the little child inside a man, i was dreaming in the past and my heart was beating fast, if you want money for people with minds that hate all i can tell you brother you’ll have to wait, war is over if you want it, no need for greed or hungar a brotherhood of man,but most of all IN MY LIFE I LOVE YOU MORE
happy birthday john you are loved and i and millions more will miss you
Yoko, your message is beautiful and we still believe in Peace.
Here in South America we fight everyday for our beliefs, our ideals, our peace motives and for the beauty of life.
Sometimes is very hard to swim against the currents, against over consumption, against the media, against the powerful and their money.
But when i saw you and your willpower to keep screaming for peace and love for everyone, i feel alive now and i’ll keep yelling and working to build a better world for us all.
Thank you Yoko. Mata ne!
Felipe Nadeau.
i need your help!…i’m in a big emotional crisis and i don’t think i’m handling too well….
[...] I relation till händelsen med Gloria Emerson är det intressant att läsa Yoko Onos svar på en fråga från RMG_Design på twitter om vad hon tror om de ständigt växande sociala mediernas roll i att skapa ”worldpeace and harmony”. Yoko svarar: [...]
Hello Yoko, thank you for being available. I was at MoMA this past weekend…I screamed and made a wish. Thanks for bringing me full circle…and thank you for your he(art). I will be thinking of you and John tomorrow. Xo jen
Hi Jen! It’s nice that you participated in the scream piece and screamed. Your scream joined all the other screams of that piece performed in MOMA, and is sending out a strong vibration and making a strong statement to the world. love, yoko
Many years ago in NY you and John did a TV show on channel 13 which I attended. I have never heard anything relating to this show. Could you please let me know why.
Love and God Bless
That show still exists as a video and is played once in awhile by the TV station.
My next cd with my poems / music will be dedicated to you and John. This because of the good vibes you’re givin’ to the world. More than thanks, and with lovin’ greetings from The Netherlands,
Jos Witteman

HI Yoko,
I am doing a write up on Cut Piece. I was wondering what is a message or representation you were trying to say with this piece?
Thanks,
Kallie
There are many layers of statements in that piece. It is not just one. yoko
Thank you for the answers that you shared to me especially about questions related when you were expecting a baby with John.. One of my favorites is you are craving meat and cabbage and about morning sickness.. hope if you don’t mind I could post some questions that was bugging in my head. it is all about Sean when he was not yet born (I mean inside your womb)… again thank you…
Love your response to my query, thank you so much for your work. You’re absolutely right about love.
Yoko, God bless you, love nessus

Yes. I felt sad. He was a good friend. yoko

No. Watch this.
Thank you Yoko for taking the time to answer these questions. Your ideas inspire me.
