Good night. How was your day?

I kept glancing the mirror to see if I was in peace. I was. In the end, I realized that I had given myself a peaceful day, even though the newspapers were reporting violence after violence in the world.

Janey Peters
Yoko will you be lighting The SKINNY BITCH to me. I thought it was hilarious and very informative. But some of it was deeply disturbing. The chapter about slaughterhouses made me cry. Thanks to this book, I’ve made the leap from vegetarian to vegan. My vision of world peace extends all the way to the animal kingdom. I can’t have peace in my heart if I know that I’m contributing to animal genocide. Are you still involved with Meat Free Monday? I think that organization does great things. If everyone in the world stopped eating meat for one day a week, we could reverse climate change and save a lot of lives. Lots of love, Al.

Thank you for your thoughts. I totally agree with you.

Chris Lacoste
What things do you carry?

I carry sad and delightful memories, which gives me wisdom and pwoer.

Mari Mcnamee
Hope all is well with you Yoko! I’m going to Folkestone Triennial 2014 later this month. I can’t wait to experience your work in person! Thanks for all you do!

Thank you for your thoughts.

Bradley Pawlek
I’ve read that you and John were big into “hoping and wishing”, in your viewpoint, what did (if it’s still your standpoint what does) that mean for you? How much do you think action (work, deeds whatever) is also part of an equation like it? Have a beautiful day!

Most people forget the fact that if all of us had not kept wishing and hoping, the globe might have exploded long time ago.

Angela Scafidi-Leone
Good morning, I love you Yoko Ono, my question to you is should I continue believing it is possible? Seems to me the more I believe the less true it seems possible. However, I will never give up hope. I try to bring a smile to everyone’s face and I wont stop!

Sister, I am with you!

Andrew Smith
How do we stop or at least reduce all of these wars that are becoming more and more common? Hate seems to be escalating everywhere and politicians are running on hate campaigns in America.

There are more people than politicians. Each one of us has the power to convince the world if we believe in ourselves. We’ll make it.

Nikki Cazimi
How do I express anger appropriately so it doesn’t poison me?

You don’t want to poison yourself or the world. But we do get angry don’t we? Just say: “I love you, I forgive you, I accept you unconditionally.” You are saying this to yourself. Keep saying it until you had enough.

Carl Blackburdy
Were you a fan of Joan Rivers and if so, what words do you have on her passing?

She made the world a bit lighter with her act, so we should thank her for it.

Teresa Burgess Sumstine
What’s one good way to balance life? It seems that time goes so fast.

Don’t think you have to balance life. Just enjoy life and life will balance itself.

Hello Yoko! How are you today? What do you think about the so called Immigration problem that is being discussed now?

John and I had terrible immigration problems as you may know. But in the end, John’s case created a situation which helped many people from then onwards. So what we went through was a blessing in disguise. You never know what will benefit people in the end.

What is the most important thing one can do in his/her own life to change the world we live in?

We should think in terms of the big picture. Then we will know that every little action we take with good intention does help the world.

SuperFanVicHky ‏@SuperFanVicHky
Yoko do you still believe that we will have world peace and harmony and love will be achived?

Yes. I know that we will get there. But be careful you don’t get frightened that maybe it won’t happen, or worse yet, think that it may be better that it doesn’t happen. All that negative thinking blocks, delays and slows down World Peace, Harmony and Love.

Jaclyn Fiore ‏@Sugahunnysexybb
what was your favorite memory with all of The Beatles together?

They were very intelligent people. More so than they let the world know. As a result, life was filled with lots of fun.

J a s h n a ‏@JashnaPillay
What advice do you have for the young generation who wish to spread peace despite the social evils we experience today?

Keep on spreading Peace without fear.

Simon Black ‏@supercatsimon
Hi Yoko. Is it better to think of self as tiny atom in giant universe or as the universe itself, connected to every atom?

We are all connected to the smallest insects and the largest planets in the Universe.

Questions? ‏@Aquestioner1
How Does One Stay Sane In This Crazy World?

Make sure you keep your head straight. Believe in yourself that if you want to stay sane, you will.

Letti ‏@Letti4U
How do you deal with fear?

By changing its enormous energy to joy.

Satoshi Dáte ‏@satoshidate
Do you think “imagining” is not enough to change the world now?

It is. That’s why it is changing very rapidly. Don’t block it!

Mike Thomas ‏@mikethomas1959
What is your next challenge Yoko?

It’s the same challenge to believe in ourselves and the great future.

Joseph Martin john is a light that will never go out for all you need is love will continue to feed this light
he was a poet, songwriter, composer, a father, a champion for peace but most of all he was just a man. unlike paul m. he could feel and write a…bout pain and longing and reach the depths of dispair and somehow it was beautiful Help i need somebody, so i sing a song of love for julia, mother you had me but i never had you, women you understand the little child inside a man, i was dreaming in the past and my heart was beating fast, if you want money for people with minds that hate all i can tell you brother you’ll have to wait, war is over if you want it, no need for greed or hungar a brotherhood of man,but most of all IN MY LIFE I LOVE YOU MORE
happy birthday john you are loved and i and millions more will miss you

  5. Felipe says:

Yoko, your message is beautiful and we still believe in Peace.

Here in South America we fight everyday for our beliefs, our ideals, our peace motives and for the beauty of life.

Sometimes is very hard to swim against the currents, against over consumption, against the media, against the powerful and their money.

But when i saw you and your willpower to keep screaming for peace and love for everyone, i feel alive now and i’ll keep yelling and working to build a better world for us all.

    Thank you Yoko. Mata ne!

    Felipe Nadeau.
