What was the IMAGINE PEACE TOWER like yesterday?

What you saw in papers and on TV is what we experienced too. We are all one!

Mike Thomas ‏@mikethomas1959
Hi Yoko would you say you are truly happy being a peaceful person with all the conflict in the world?

I have never said I am truly happy about the condition of the society now. That’s why we, activists are all working day and night, aren’t we? To change the world!

Poppy Bell ‏@Ninjanotes1
I’ve seen the word “Believe” a lot lately & feel there is meaning behind these frequent sightings. Has that ever happened to you?

Some people believe that we are all heading for doomsday. That’s why others are voicing the fact that they believe in the other.

Delise ‏@TortugaLucecita
Hi : What would you write in a note of appreciation for someone who silently does great work with love, like a laundress?

I will be busy naming people who are working silently with good karma. I think there is a good reason they are not known too well. Because when you put the light on what they are doing, sometimes bad people will destroy what the laundress is doing silently. I am one of the spiritual laundresses, so I know how it works. So I do much laudering without pointing out that I am doing it.

How can I eliminate all of my negative energy and stop being so cynical?

Don’t force yourself to be anything. Let it be. What you are thinking that it is your negative energy doing it. It may be a blessing in disguise. Let it be, Let it be. You are fine as you are.

Phil Donnelly-Rooney ‏@phildr
How come major religions seem to promote peace, but their followers can be so violent?

Because the followers in their subconscious know that the major religions may just be trying to control you.

Jck Lighthouse ‏@Tomaksbaks
I love the song “O Sisters O Sisters“. Has the fight for equality in the years since played out like you hoped?

A lot is different now. You know it!

linda Whiteley ‏@orlusa
Are you or Sean fans of Animé? My son loves it. In fact, he loves everything about Japan and wants to visit one day. Xx

Did you know that people like your son, with his love, are bringing Japan to the countries in the west? Well, they are doing that. So we are more and more together. What about the love for Sushi, for instance?

PROTECT ALL WILDLIFE ‏@Protect_Wldlife
Hello Yoko. Do you think elephants & rhino can survive the poaching crisis? What needs to be done to stop it? Thank You.

Read my statement called UNCOVER. You can get it at IMAGINEPEACE.com. It speaks of what we can do.

When do you find time to respond to your fan mail?

Time is like a suitcase when you want to go on a trip. You can squeeze a lot in!

Hi Yoko! How was October 9th for you?

I am still in the dream of what happened. It was great!

Mike Sorrows
I have one of your books. You’ve said, and sang so many amazing things. Do you have any plans for a new book?

There are some interesting publications that will come your way this and early next year. Here’s one.

Cindy Sams
Good afternoon, Yoko! What are your favorite books and what are you reading right now? Thank you!

I’m reading three books at a time as you may know.
1) The Law of Attraction: How To Make It Work For You by Esther and Jerry Hicks – This is not a book how to trap the opposite sex!
2) You Can Heal Your Life by Louise Hay – I’m sure you are familiar with many of her books. But this one is good to take it on your trip.
3) Ho’oponopono: The Hawaiian Forgiveness Ritual As A Key to Your Life’s Fulfillment by Ulrich E. Dupree – This is very, very enlightening.

Kevin Fricke
Did you and John ever go to a Led Zeppelin concert? What did you think of them? Who were your favorite musical groups, or musicians?

We were busy creating our own songs and didn’t go to other musicians concerts much. One day, without planning, we saw Bob Marley playing in L.A., and went in. It was very exciting.

Rand Kelly
Yoko, I was listening to Sean’s debut CD ‘Into The Sun‘ (to celebrate his birthday) yesterday, and I just love this album. Sean is an amazing talent and I wanted to ask you how did he get so good on guitar, bass, keyboards, voice? Did he take lessons or was it more by ear? You must be so proud.

He is just very good. Not because he had lessons. He became good at everything through love and passion.

There is evidence to suggest that cannabis cures cancers and alleviates an array of other illnesses. But it can’t be studied because it remains illegal. Do you think it’s time to lift the ban and start saving lives?

There are many things that are banned for no reason. Maybe let doctors to give people cannabis free above the age of 60. Young people can be cured by most any method, so I’m not too concerned if they don’t get cannabis.

Lori Linn
What way can average people like myself (from USA) do to bring about peace in the Middle East?

Think of being a Middle Eastern person yourself. Then clean yourself as the Middle Eastern person. Read what somebody did in Ho’oponopono: The Hawaiian Forgiveness Ritual As A Key to Your Life’s Fulfillment by Ulrich E. Dupree.

Tristan Steele
Any news on the yoko ono reissue project?

It’s on its way. Patience.

Alan Anbari
Yoko, thank you for your thoughtful inspiration over the years. I was thinking of your songs, and I’m sorry to admit that I don’t know them all. However, “Remember Love” always seems so inspirational and aspirational to me. I find myself singing it often. Do you have a favorite song or piece of music you sing to yourself or hum often?

Actually, Remember Love, in my book, too!

Mary Walker
No question, just thank you! Thank you for spreading Peace!

Let’s keep on doing! Thank you!!!

Leonor Quinteros Ochoa
Dear Yoko, what’s the best way to wake up? Love from Chile

By having an alarm clock. No? (I’m just joking! yoko)

  4. joseph martin says:

Joseph Martin john is a light that will never go out for all you need is love will continue to feed this light
he was a poet, songwriter, composer, a father, a champion for peace but most of all he was just a man. unlike paul m. he could feel and write a…bout pain and longing and reach the depths of dispair and somehow it was beautiful Help i need somebody, so i sing a song of love for julia, mother you had me but i never had you, women you understand the little child inside a man, i was dreaming in the past and my heart was beating fast, if you want money for people with minds that hate all i can tell you brother you’ll have to wait, war is over if you want it, no need for greed or hungar a brotherhood of man,but most of all IN MY LIFE I LOVE YOU MORE
happy birthday john you are loved and i and millions more will miss you

  5. Felipe says:

Yoko, your message is beautiful and we still believe in Peace.

Here in South America we fight everyday for our beliefs, our ideals, our peace motives and for the beauty of life.

Sometimes is very hard to swim against the currents, against over consumption, against the media, against the powerful and their money.

But when i saw you and your willpower to keep screaming for peace and love for everyone, i feel alive now and i’ll keep yelling and working to build a better world for us all.

    Thank you Yoko. Mata ne!

    Felipe Nadeau.
