Thank you for letting me know. I am putting out a message in my own way.

Donald Orne
When and where did John write Imagine?

In England.

Tony Manero
Dear Yoko, I’m love dancing to the new mixes of ‘Angel’. Are there more mixes to come? Did you write the original for John’s birthday?

Yes. I did. I did it for John.

Elizabeth Ingram
Hi Yoko! When will your new book, Infinite Universe at Dawn, be available in the US? Thank you dear one.

It will be very, very soon. yoko

Chelsea Lowe
Did you and John ever read the letters and things people used to send you?

In the beginning. But then we stopped doing it.

Barbara Ann Alexson
How did you find the strength to stand in your truth to follow your vision?

It’s like breathing. How could I stop it?!

Jaynie Mullins
Ms Ono, Do you think that your efforts against fracking are making a difference with the big corporations? I come from a fracking prominent state in the US where it is all marketing geared toward the almighty dollar. I was not aware of the long term consequences on the planet until you and Sean performed “Don’t Frack your Mother” on Jimmy Fallon’s show. Thank you. Peace.

Just now, it looks like the big corporations are doing it anyway. But it is making a difference. You’ll see.

Stephen Lukas
Hello dear Yoko. I was wondering how you felt about Scotland and it’s quest for Independence. What were your feelings before the actual vote? Seldom do we see things like this happen, “power to the people” for example. John once sang “Give Ireland Back to the Irish” do you think he would have supported an independent Scotland? Thank you Yoko

I think this is only a start. The door doesn’t open with the first knock. Be patient.

Kate Monteith
My husband and I are “trying” your Cleaning Piece III. We call it the Yoko challenge! He wants to know, Yoko, how do you blow off steam when you feel angry or frustrated with another person?

I think about it intelligently. Being angry is bad for your health ..not so much for others. So if you love yourself, stop it right away.

Tessa Shearer
In the INSTANT KARMA video you’re crocheting whilst being blindfolded. Why are you blindfolded? What did you make???

I was symbolizing what women are going through in our society. WE are not blind… therefore we can still crochet. But the male society wants us to be blindfolded. yoko

How are you doing?

Very well, thank you.

Did you know “Ono” means “Delicious” in Hawaiian!? :)

Yes. I think that’s great.

In a time of constant global turmoil, what is more important world peace or inner peace?

Global Peace will come with Inner Peace. Unless 99% of the people on our globe have inner peace, we will be unable to have world peace. But don’t be sad. As soon as we know that, we will have inner peace pretty quickly. You know, that it is already happening in a big way now. Read and exercise MINDFULNESS.

Naomi ‏@JustSamssister
What do you feel is the biggest issue the world is currently facing? Do you think John would be sad how things are?

John is not sad, since he already knows what we are facing in the future – World Peace!

Wildraar ‏@Wildraar
What one thing could every global leader do to help bring peace to the world?

Leaders are followers. We have to let them know what we want.

Betty ‏@BarzhDu
Can ambition alone ever be an enemy?

It all depends on the ambition. How about an ambition to bring peace to the world?

DeИis ‏@denislavd
Whats the purpose of life?

To live fully in the way you want.

jamminjen2000 ‏@HallyburtonJen
What do you think we can do to make the world a better kinder place? #imagine

It starts with yourself. Say as many times as you can to yourself: I love you, I forgive you, I accept you 100 percent.

Ace Hotel ‏@acehotel
Hi Yoko what is your favorite time of day?

Every minute of the day!

Jessie Hudson ‏@JesticHuds
On a captain-less ship, who’s shoulder does the parrot sit on?

The parrot gave up on sitting on the shoulder of a captain a long time ago,.

Mike Thomas ‏@mikethomas1959
Do you ever return to Japan and do you see Kyoko? Keep the fight going to change life for the better, it’s working!

Yes, it’s working, isn’t it? Kyoko and I communicate quite often now. She is coming to Iceland this year to light the IMAGINE PEACE TOWER with us. Things are working in mysterious ways. We just have to be patient. yoko

YOKO, THIS MAN Jacque Fresco’s, HAS DEDICATIED HIS WHOLE LIFE TO A NEW WORLD FOR US TO LIVE IN PEACE, BUT NO ONE IN THE USA WILL LISTEN OR LOOK AT HIS ART AND DREAMS CAUSE OF HIS EDUCATION.” IMAGINE” IS WHAT HE IS ALL ABOUT AND HOPEFULLY WITH YOUR HELP SOMEONE WILL LISTEN TO HIS WONDERFUL AND AMAZING IDEAS! 4. joseph martin says:

Joseph Martin john is a light that will never go out for all you need is love will continue to feed this light
he was a poet, songwriter, composer, a father, a champion for peace but most of all he was just a man. unlike paul m. he could feel and write a…bout pain and longing and reach the depths of dispair and somehow it was beautiful Help i need somebody, so i sing a song of love for julia, mother you had me but i never had you, women you understand the little child inside a man, i was dreaming in the past and my heart was beating fast, if you want money for people with minds that hate all i can tell you brother you’ll have to wait, war is over if you want it, no need for greed or hungar a brotherhood of man,but most of all IN MY LIFE I LOVE YOU MORE
happy birthday john you are loved and i and millions more will miss you

  5. Felipe says:

Yoko, your message is beautiful and we still believe in Peace.

Here in South America we fight everyday for our beliefs, our ideals, our peace motives and for the beauty of life.

Sometimes is very hard to swim against the currents, against over consumption, against the media, against the powerful and their money.

But when i saw you and your willpower to keep screaming for peace and love for everyone, i feel alive now and i’ll keep yelling and working to build a better world for us all.

    Thank you Yoko. Mata ne!

    Felipe Nadeau.
