How are you feeling?

About the same as when you asked me last time!

Robin Stancik
Thank you, Yoko, for inspiring me and helping me stay authentic for many years. Is there a food regimine you follow? Do you have any advice about how to eat healthy and mindfully?

If you eat anything with the thought that you are eating healthy and eating mindfully with joy, it will do wonders for you. If you think you are going through torture doing the food regime suggested by somebody or some book, it will eventually make you rebel against it. I myself am going through what I think is a fairly good diet and quite often rebelling against it! Result: I’m good!- like you say in Nu Yawk)

Rae Ono
Yoko, what adivce would you give someone who isn’t sure what to be when they grow up?

Congratulate him for being like all of us. I think I will know what I want to be when I’m 90. Hoping…

Frances Ruth Harris
What is the most risk that you have ever taken and won in doing so?

Being a woman at 81.

Julie Glaser
Watching LENNONYC right now and really enjoying it. You are a such a beautiful person, Yoko. The revolution continues, grows, in all of us reaching for peace. Peace. It’s still obtainable. Right?

Yes. Definitely. I know we will get it. Read my most recent writing called UNCOVER.

Carlos Ortega
What do you remember about your visit to Mexico? When are you coming back?

My son is there now doing a concert tour. I will be there sooner than you think. But I don’t want to talk about exactly when.

Theresa Wozunk
Dear Yoko, what does “Liberty” mean to you?

Liberty to me means the Statue of Liberty which is the gift from France… she is still standing… balancing herself in the rough water, singing the song of Liberty.

Mario Alberto Ramos D
Dear Yoko Ono, what do you think about Feng Shui? Do you believe in it? Best Regards!

I do believe the very logical parts. Becasue there are so many different theories in Feng Shui, you can’t believe in all of them. Believe in what you wish to believe in. That’ll work.

Paula Leiva
Do you believe in angels?

Yes, I do. I am one.

Albert Murrian “Woman is the Nigger of the World” is a fantastic song. Is it true that you came up with that line?
Yes. Because it was true then and true now.

Simone Cameron
Love u Yoko.. keep the the awesome work!!

And you, too, darling!

How many hours of sleep do you get per night?

3 to 6. But what I didn’t get, I get as a nap during the day.

Felicia Marano @cutelyobsessive
How can I find my passion?

Don’t wish for it. It’s the most difficult thing to deal with.

perennial @perennialdeath
In retrospect what’s sweeter, private moments or public victories?

Public victories elate you whenever you think about them. Private moments disappear and you are left with melancholy.

Laurie @pets4me2u
What is love? I don’t think most people really know. They don’t teach us in school, how to do it. It’s hard. how can I learn more about love?

Not downgrading the concept of love is a start. Love comes to you when you are open to it. If you have a good feeling about something… that’s love. From the time I am up in the morning to late night when I go to sleep, I feel love for most everything I see. Artists are all like that. But still I’m a lucky girl!

RichardH @rbhayles
How far do we have to go in helping one another?

As much as you want. If you are feeling bad helping, you won’t feel good. And that doesn’t help anybody. Just remember, you count, too.

forrest freeman @ForrestFreeman0
Did you and John have a very large record collection? do you still have it?

Yes. John’s record collection is still with me. But It’s not a great library! He was more into writing and recording his own songs. We have lots of Jon Lennon, Yoko Ono, and Sean CDs. Don’t think we were selfy before that word became legit.

Michael Azerrad @michaelazerrad
What is the definition of reality?

What you think as reality.

Stephanie Smoluk @StephSmoluk
What’s the most delicious food you’ve ever eaten in your life?

It all depends on the circumstances.
1) If your bod. happens to be in good condition.
2) you like the company.
3) And they’re not playing terrible music loud.
With those conditions, any food is alright by me!

Greg Tilton @gwtilton
Can you talk about recording ‘AOS’ with Ornette Coleman? What precipitated your collaboration?

Please don’t talk about it like a collaboration. The feminist in me is itching now! He was already a famous musician. I was not. But AOS was my work. The “collaboration” was precipitated by Ornette, who wanted to perform my work.

AC Gagnon @ac_gagnon
Hi! As an activist, what do you think it takes or is missing to win a cause against the goliath $ized opposition of today?

When you are known as a small power, it’s easier to do anything.

Сергей @Sergexx
Dear Yoko, who inspired u to write ToyBoat & what exactly is in the castle atop the hill? Love

I was inspired to write that one because my life was so difficult after John’s death. I was saying “Help me, help me! Anyone out there!” The castle atop the hlll? You figure!

Tim Martin @thehiwaystar
Hi Yoko – do you believe the universe had an absolute beginning ? Or do you believe it’s always been ?

Something must have been always there… like emptiness? But if you are talking about a symphonic BEGINNING like we think there was… I am sure the beginning was two specs of dust scrubbing each other. You can call it LOVE if you wish.

Joseph Martin john is a light that will never go out for all you need is love will continue to feed this light
he was a poet, songwriter, composer, a father, a champion for peace but most of all he was just a man. unlike paul m. he could feel and write a…bout pain and longing and reach the depths of dispair and somehow it was beautiful Help i need somebody, so i sing a song of love for julia, mother you had me but i never had you, women you understand the little child inside a man, i was dreaming in the past and my heart was beating fast, if you want money for people with minds that hate all i can tell you brother you’ll have to wait, war is over if you want it, no need for greed or hungar a brotherhood of man,but most of all IN MY LIFE I LOVE YOU MORE
happy birthday john you are loved and i and millions more will miss you

  5. Felipe says:

Yoko, your message is beautiful and we still believe in Peace.

Here in South America we fight everyday for our beliefs, our ideals, our peace motives and for the beauty of life.

Sometimes is very hard to swim against the currents, against over consumption, against the media, against the powerful and their money.

But when i saw you and your willpower to keep screaming for peace and love for everyone, i feel alive now and i’ll keep yelling and working to build a better world for us all.

    Thank you Yoko. Mata ne!

    Felipe Nadeau.
