Does the world seem angrier or less angry to you, since your Bed-In for Peace?

We should stop being angry, since it is not good for our health. Your anger is partly aroused because you are confused about the situation. You don’t really know why unpleasant things are happening. Once you know the reason, you will still be upset, but knowing that you have a clear understanding will start to help you.

Why do people still try to destroy what they fear or don’t understand, instead of trying to learn and accept that we are all different and part of the tapestry of life? I for one find that bullying and war to still be around to be very discouraging about the future of mankind. How can I find peace within and feel I am doing a part in making peace in the world if I am just so disgusted with teh actions of others.

We should all have a clear understanding of why we have war. We have war because some people want to make money from it. Not because of any other reason. This clear understanding of the situation seems not so effective, but you will see that it is.

How can I overcome my fear of being an artist and constantly being an artist? i m afraid of my own unrealistic world limits other people and no one will understand.

We all have incomplete understanding of reality. Let’s complete the puzzle together and have a clear understanding of what is happening. Then we will still be upset but will start to find a way to heal the upsetting situation.

Back in the Fluxus days, did you ever meet Yves Klein?

No. I haven’t. yoko

I loved the film IMAGINE and the honesty that came through so strongly. Having had decades to reflect on your life and work with John have you discovered new view points or insights? Could there be another chapter to imagine? May love always be yours.

IMAGINE is a complete vision. A succinct bible of truth. It will start to unfold as you believe in it.

Sven Saluzzi
Can you recall John mentioning having met a “celebrity” who deeply impressed him?

It’s waste of time to be impressed by anybody. Just work on yourself.

Patrick Lemaire
Are you going to help us when we fight the oil companies from building the Northern Gateway pipeline from the Tar sands of Alberta to the pristine North West Coast of British Columbia?

Things will unfold in such a way that it will help all of us. Have faith.

Joe Camerlengo
Where is the most unexpected place you have found happiness lately?

In myself as always.

Cindy Sams
Good morning Yoko! With all of your traveling over the years, where is your favorite destination and why? Have a magical day!

My favorite destination is going inside myself.

Steve Kawalek
Do you have any advice for me as I turn 43 today?

Keep doing well until 44. Then think of doing well, until 45. Keep on doing well every year, until you don’t want to.

Frank Meloski
Yoko you are a world wide Icon of love and Peace. Thank you for being you.

I always have quarrel with the person whom I love so much, because of my jealousy. Please give me your advice on this.

Expressing jealousy is another way of letting the person know of your love. So don’t feel too bad. If you are not jealous, he/she may become totally upset.

  4. joseph martin says:

Joseph Martin john is a light that will never go out for all you need is love will continue to feed this light
he was a poet, songwriter, composer, a father, a champion for peace but most of all he was just a man. unlike paul m. he could feel and write a…bout pain and longing and reach the depths of dispair and somehow it was beautiful Help i need somebody, so i sing a song of love for julia, mother you had me but i never had you, women you understand the little child inside a man, i was dreaming in the past and my heart was beating fast, if you want money for people with minds that hate all i can tell you brother you’ll have to wait, war is over if you want it, no need for greed or hungar a brotherhood of man,but most of all IN MY LIFE I LOVE YOU MORE
happy birthday john you are loved and i and millions more will miss you

  5. Felipe says:

Yoko, your message is beautiful and we still believe in Peace.

Here in South America we fight everyday for our beliefs, our ideals, our peace motives and for the beauty of life.

Sometimes is very hard to swim against the currents, against over consumption, against the media, against the powerful and their money.

But when i saw you and your willpower to keep screaming for peace and love for everyone, i feel alive now and i’ll keep yelling and working to build a better world for us all.

    Thank you Yoko. Mata ne!

    Felipe Nadeau.
