How are you?

Oh, is that you again? Thank you for asking. I’m just a bit tired, I think.

Shuji Hiyama
Please tell us how to stop war in Gaza. I joined anti-war demo but the people are still killed now.

I know. That’s what is making me feel so bad.

Biddy O’ Connell
How does one combine activism with “Think PEACE, Act PEACE and Spread PEACE?” I am so angered by what is happening in Gaza at the moment… is this not an appropriate response? If enough of us are outraged and raise our voices isn’t it possible that we can turn the tide? But don’t get me wrong I do also believe in the power of meditation for peace and finding the peace within. I’m just having trouble combining both!

I feel the same. I just feel so sad. I was feeling sick for a couple of days throwing up. I’m exhausted…

Theo Strasser
Is there a follow up to Grapefruit..? Would be nice…please…

Yes. I put out another one called Acorn.

Angela Mata
Yoko, do feel fall approaching? Does the air change there in NY as it does here in Seattle?

Yes. We have a great city here where the leaves turn their colour suddenly. It’s really great. You should visit our city.

Albert Murrian
What is the funniest book you’ve ever read? What is the book that made you laugh out loud the most? I want to read it.

SKINNY BITCH by Kim Barnouin & Rory Freedman. It’s great and also wise. Read it and you won’t regret it!
(there’s more of my favourite books here).

Zachie Separovic
Hey Yoko Ono – What do you know about how the Georgia Guidestones came to be? Peace and Love!

Well, that’s a big mystery, right? We should have more stuff like that we can’t figure out. Mystery gives us some fun.

Thom Rehorst
Do you still breed Holsteiner Cows as you did in the 70′s/80′s?

Those were the days! No I don’t.

Paul Hamlyn
Have you ever suffered with artist’s block? A blank screen in your head which stops your creativeness. LIke having no voice. If so how do you heal yourself from this condition? Please feel free to ask me a question also. Have a beautiful day.

Don’t tell me about a blank screen! The way you tell it, we might catch it… like a cold! Well, so far I have been lucky not to have had any artistic blocks.

Irene Davy
I really loved everything about your art exhibition in Sydney, loved that it was so interactive. Love the family with the dog sculpture. You are the best! Thanks for being you.

Oh, I’m so glad that you caught that one with the family and the dog. I love that one, too. Thank you.

What are you thinking about right now Yoko?

I was throwing up major since that news about the horrible killing of journalist James Foley. I know we have killed many people, and many soldiers had died on both sides. So I am not being logical. I know.

Jenn Blair ‏@JennBlairCBC
What’s the most beautiful sound you’ve ever heard?

The sound made by nature.

e rica ‏@cemetry_gates_
What is the most important thing to know in order to be happy and successful?

Happiness and success are all in our minds. You can be happy just looking at a beautiful sky. You can think you were successful when you baked a great loaf of bread.

Is there a question you would really like to answer but no-one has ever asked you?

I can’t think of one now.

Stephanie Smoluk ‏@StephSmoluk
What is the best advice that you have ever received?

To listen to myself,

Raissa. ‏@Raissa_Red
Don’t know when, but I’ve lost myself. Do you ever feel like this? Any council? And thank you for being so inspirational.

When you feel you are floating and not being firmly grounded, when you are up in the middle of the night and feeling lonely, repeat this as many times as you wish to yourself: “I love you, I forgive you, I accept you unconditionally”.

Linda Whitney ‏@whitney_cat
My mother died in January & having hard time accepting it, what advice can you give me? I am so sad & miss her so much.

When you feel as though you are drowning, repeat this as many times as you wish to yourself: “I love you I forgive you, I accept you unconditionally”.

What will the moon do, if the sea disappeared and never came back?

The moon will still shine over you.

arff! woof! ‏@vote4alexander
I always enjoy your music! I was wondering what the cheshire cat in ‘Chesire Cat Cry’ represents metaphorically in the lyrics?

The Cheshire Cat usually disappears slowly with a big smile. But now, it is staying and crying.

If I sent you a cup, would you break it and return it to me so I could glue it back together?
Think that I broke it, and mend it for me. Thank you.

claudia gonzalez ‏@claudiaring
You are a legend, do you feel the responsibility to give a message of peace to the world? sometimes you feel tired about this?

We share the responsibility and desire. So it’s good. I am not tired of it at all.

Tell us your memories of @BombedOutChurch in Liverpool http://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/Bombed-Out-Church

Wow! I’m glad the St Luke’s Church crowdfunder worked! I enjoyed exhibiting My Mommy Was Beautiful and Skyladders there. I really think it is a beautiful site, Like a woman who is nursing her heart of memory.

Joseph Martin john is a light that will never go out for all you need is love will continue to feed this light
he was a poet, songwriter, composer, a father, a champion for peace but most of all he was just a man. unlike paul m. he could feel and write a…bout pain and longing and reach the depths of dispair and somehow it was beautiful Help i need somebody, so i sing a song of love for julia, mother you had me but i never had you, women you understand the little child inside a man, i was dreaming in the past and my heart was beating fast, if you want money for people with minds that hate all i can tell you brother you’ll have to wait, war is over if you want it, no need for greed or hungar a brotherhood of man,but most of all IN MY LIFE I LOVE YOU MORE
happy birthday john you are loved and i and millions more will miss you

  5. Felipe says:

Yoko, your message is beautiful and we still believe in Peace.

Here in South America we fight everyday for our beliefs, our ideals, our peace motives and for the beauty of life.

Sometimes is very hard to swim against the currents, against over consumption, against the media, against the powerful and their money.

But when i saw you and your willpower to keep screaming for peace and love for everyone, i feel alive now and i’ll keep yelling and working to build a better world for us all.

    Thank you Yoko. Mata ne!

    Felipe Nadeau.
