Daniele Erville
Will you be at the rock and roll hall of fame this week? peace ‘n love!

I think so :) yoko

Mari Mcnamee
Hi Yoko! I read that early on you had training in the Italian Opera. Do you feel like that has influenced your music? Songs like Kurushi, and many of your other songs, seem to have that form of intensity and go to the depth of emotion. Pucinni is one of my favorite composers and Yoko Ono of course. Do you have a favorite opera?

Menotti’s Telephone.

Coys Dock
Yoko, I find it hard to remain peaceful, when I am surrounded by negativity, closed minds with big mouths… How do you remain calm? What do you do to “tune this out”?

I have my own dreams and agenda. So I can’t be listening to negative talk from big mouths.

Marge Kleintop Borghi
What one thing still “takes your breath away”?

Every day… seeing the sunrise. Seeing the field spread under full moon.

EdDa Jung
My mother died in February 2015. Almost 4 weeks later my brother. The grief is great. How did you hear or handled cope with the grief?

There’s nothing you can do but to go through it. It’s very, very hard, I know.

Lesley Houser
Dear Yoko, Do you think that our dreams contain symbols that can be translated into information that can be useful in our daily lives? If so, do you have a personal example of this that you could share? I have always disregarded dream symbolism but it seems to make more sense the older I get. I hope you have a nice weekend!

I enjoy dreams, I don’t concern myself with symbolism.

Richard Kath
Yoko, when you’re recording do you or did you play any instruments?

Piano is the only thing I have played so far. So I make my music by listening to what comes out of playing the piano.

Shaylyn Gregory
What do you think is the biggest issue facing women today?

Loneliness.

Rae Ono
When was the finest snowstorm you have seen? Where was the snow falling? What book were you reading the day prior?

I love, love, love snow. So there are many memories of it.

Carol Holms
You reference wind a lot. What makes it of such importance to you?

I like it’s movements. It seems very independent from other movements.

I’d just like to ask you: how are you? what have you done today? peace and love

It was the first spring like day, and everybody on the streets looked poarticularly joyful.
I had a long walk.

Will live music be part of your upcoming @MuseumModernArt show?

Another concert is coming up!

Mike Thomas ‏@mikethomas1959
Do you look back on The Sixties with a smile Yoko, or was it a time of struggle and strife?

I don’t have the time to look back.

Vanee ‏@_Vanee_______
Do you have routines? Is important to have routines?

Not that routines are important, you just end up having them!

Dana Francisco ‏@portionsfordana
How does one overcome the fear of sharing their art with the world?

Each time you give what you created with love to the world, it comes back to you in tenfold. So don’t be afraid. GIVE!

Felicia Marano ‏@cutelyobsessive
Hi Yoko! Are you really a “Bad Dancer”?

BAD is like saying it’s BAD, honey. It’s a now language.

Albert Murrian ‏@AlbertBMurrian
Congrats on the new Woman Power remix album! How would a world run by women be different from a world that’s run by men?

Well, we had roughly two thousand yesars of the other. So why don’t we see what happenes? It may be great fun!

Seif ‏@SeifReblogs
How do you inspire the uninspired?

The world is so inspired now… it’s great! But give me some rest!

Charles McGarry ‏@chasman1957
Were you really satisfied with Strawberry Fields in Central Park? I expected gardens and so much more.

There is so much more. You just don’t see it.

brothermikecohen ‏@bromikecohen
FLY is a fantastic album – Any memories on recording this masterpiece??

I was just inspired. It was great!

Andrew Rowson ‏@Capt_Caveman87
What is your biggest, most exciting challenge right now? How do you plan to overcome it?

My plan is to totally detox myself… in the midst of heavy polluted society. That’s quite a challenge, isn’t it? If you are doing it, too, by the way, think that you are not the only one. Good luck!

Joseph Martin john is a light that will never go out for all you need is love will continue to feed this light
he was a poet, songwriter, composer, a father, a champion for peace but most of all he was just a man. unlike paul m. he could feel and write a…bout pain and longing and reach the depths of dispair and somehow it was beautiful Help i need somebody, so i sing a song of love for julia, mother you had me but i never had you, women you understand the little child inside a man, i was dreaming in the past and my heart was beating fast, if you want money for people with minds that hate all i can tell you brother you’ll have to wait, war is over if you want it, no need for greed or hungar a brotherhood of man,but most of all IN MY LIFE I LOVE YOU MORE
happy birthday john you are loved and i and millions more will miss you

  5. Felipe says:

Yoko, your message is beautiful and we still believe in Peace.

Here in South America we fight everyday for our beliefs, our ideals, our peace motives and for the beauty of life.

Sometimes is very hard to swim against the currents, against over consumption, against the media, against the powerful and their money.

But when i saw you and your willpower to keep screaming for peace and love for everyone, i feel alive now and i’ll keep yelling and working to build a better world for us all.

    Thank you Yoko. Mata ne!

    Felipe Nadeau.
