@chantaldenise86
hey yoko, my friend @marcusadoro is asking if you think that the creative process is the same for both men and women.

Men and women alike, it is different in each person.

@samguitarman11
hi yoko, did you ever get chance to personally meet eric clapton? what were your opinions of him? was john fond of him?

Both John and I were very fond of him. I am still fond of him. He is not only a talented musician, but a great guy.

@Mindtrain
What does the symbol on Approximately Infinite Universe mean? (in particular, the top symbol.) thx!

Eternity.

@JenniferPage1
How do you recommend dealing w/ ENVIOUS people, who try to backstab and undermine you, or try to belittle you to be powerful?

Those people can be very dangerous. It can be harmful to you, just by the fact that they try to squeeze so much energy out of you. So stay away from them. Immersing yourself in doing good work helps, too.

@twitwalk
How would you describe the difference between war and peace?

War gives you sorrow. Peace gives you joy.

@mstut8
What has been your favorite concert you”ve been to and why?

I have good memory of all concerts I have been to. Each time, I”ve learnt something on a professional level, or have been inspired to go make music myself.

@mstut8
What is your favorite Bob Dylan song and/or album?

I love so many of his songs, it”s hard to list them all in a very limited time I have now.

@Juliaannh
Dear Yoko, How can we stay true to ourselves in love and peace when we meet with people who wish us or our children harm?

It”s a hard world. But if you don”t stay true to yourself, you will find that it is even harder. Stay true to yourself does not mean just give up. In an emergency, you will find a way to get out of harm”s way.

@ToreyMarie
What”s in a name? If you had been named something else, do you think life would have taken you down the same path?

Name, is a sound. Even somebody read it silently. It has it”s own definite sound. So a name will influence you and your life as much as music would.

@ediehansen
Yoko, how important do you think humor is to living a good life? Thank you for everything you do! :)

Humour is like a sweet scent of a very fine flower. You want to breathe and let others breathe it, too. Life becomes easier then.

@florabarone
saw you on the jimmy fallon show, wow! you look like you”re having fun. are you having the most fun of your life now?

I wouldn”t say that. I”m just being myself as usual.

@missyrae333
Yoko, what is your favorite Christmas memory?

Every Xmas is my favorite. I know that this coming one will be my favorite, too. Have a good one, yourself!

@DYREWOLFE
Yoko, if you had a photograph of every moment in your life, which would you place over your heart<3 ?

I would like to forget it all, and move into the future.

@DYREWOLFE
Yoko, what is your favourite photograph of you, John & Sean together?

The one I don”t remember.

@DYREWOLFE
Yoko, what sound of nature pleases you the most?

All sounds. Sounds are medicinal.

@DYREWOLFE
What is your favourite place to be when it rains?

Inside myself and outside in the rain. Both gives me joy.

@gnosis_imagine
will you ever have another retrospective similar to YES in NYC?

I”d rather have an exhibition of new works.

  4. joseph martin says:

    Joseph Martin john is a light that will never go out for all you need is love will continue to feed this light
    he was a poet, songwriter, composer, a father, a champion for peace but most of all he was just a man. unlike paul m. he could feel and write a…bout pain and longing and reach the depths of dispair and somehow it was beautiful Help i need somebody, so i sing a song of love for julia, mother you had me but i never had you, women you understand the little child inside a man, i was dreaming in the past and my heart was beating fast, if you want money for people with minds that hate all i can tell you brother you’ll have to wait, war is over if you want it, no need for greed or hungar a brotherhood of man,but most of all IN MY LIFE I LOVE YOU MORE
    happy birthday john you are loved and i and millions more will miss you

  5. Felipe says:

    Yoko, your message is beautiful and we still believe in Peace.

    Here in South America we fight everyday for our beliefs, our ideals, our peace motives and for the beauty of life.

    Sometimes is very hard to swim against the currents, against over consumption, against the media, against the powerful and their money.

    But when i saw you and your willpower to keep screaming for peace and love for everyone, i feel alive now and i’ll keep yelling and working to build a better world for us all.

    Thank you Yoko. Mata ne!

    Felipe Nadeau.
