Why does the US Govt have to be constantly engaged in war?
Because the president has to listen to the military.
Chloe Henderson @ChloeHenderson9
how would you describe the importance of reading and writing in everyday life?
It is very important to keep your brain active in the most complex way possible.
Regina Robinson @omgitsreg
do U think people understand that peace doesn’t begin upon laying down weapons but from opening up ur heart to ur fellow man?
Laying down weapons is not bad either!
sean smith @terrapharma
Why are people so willing to accept the inevitability of an illegal attack on Iran? #Oil #warcrimes #civiliandeaths peace
People are not just interested in their own daily struggle. Life is pretty hard for all people in USA now.
joseph cobb @joeccobb
I have worked hard in my life, Where have you found ambition? I struggle with it. I loved your performance NYE, thanks.
I am doing the same as you. I am working hard in my life. My only big ambition is for us to make this world a less violent place and less polluted. Let’s work together on that, please.
Sneblot @Sneblot
what is your stance on industry sized farming an what alternatives do you believe there to be to this system?
Many farmers are now thinking they want to go back to the old ways… not have their farms taken by big companies like now. Many of them are starting to create health farms of their own. People are responding to it, too, by buying more health farm stuff. it’s a great start.
Jeremy Lopez @lopezjeremy
Why are you blind-folded on “Instant Karma”?
I was showing what women were going through in the male society. Blindfolded and with the chained feet.

Yoko, do you or have you ever practiced YOGA? Namaste
In the morning, I do quick stretches, take a bath, and say my affirmation.

Yoko, would you dream along with me today? It’s easy if we try.
I am dreaming along with you.

I’m from Beirut. I was in Tokyo during your Yes exhibition and we saw you speak. You displayed 2 pieces that made my cry so much
Thank you for letting me know that you were there.
Stephen Gallagher @SteveG_Music
what is the best thing you’ve ever done? The worst?
I have no idea. The best thing I thought might have been not that hot, and the worst thing I thought I did could have been some blessing.

If you could share one moment, one profound feeling with the world in hope of making it a better place what would it be any why? ♥
The days when we had the seven minutes vigil all over the world right after John’s passing. We made a ring around the world of togetherness.
Jamie Crook
What is the most valuable lesson you have learned in your life that is significant and stands out above the rest?
That conflict is a man-made game and our beings are beating our hearts in unison.
Leah Cahill
Would you consider displaying some of your work at the Liverpool Tate gallery? As I live near there it would be wonderful for us northerners to see some of your work. Thank you. x
I think Tate might be showing one work curated by John Dunbar and Marianne Faithful in this coming Tate Liverpool show.
Jenny Lane
What is one of your favourite memories from when you and John first met? During the courting stage, when you were first starting to fall in love?
I don’t think it was so good. We were both busy hiding our feelings because I was proud, and John was insecure.
Irene Ferrara
I wish you a happy birthday and tell you that on 28 February, the classes in Argentina and in our small school “John Lennon” opened the school year reminding John and committing hundreds of children together to work for world peace. Irene
I send congratulations to the John Lennon school in Argentina. Happy Birthday, John Lennon School! Study well. John will be very proud of you! Love, yoko

Last summer, one of the marchers at Slutwalk held up a sign that said “Woman is the Nigger of the World.” She was told that was racist. I disgreed with them and mentioned your song from the 1970s. They said you and John were racist, and when I disagreed with them, they called me a racist. I wish you would comment on this.
You should allow her to have her belief. In time, she will understand. Patience is needed to create a peaceful world.

Yoko, how I can contribute in my world if is falling apart, people stop being polite and stop worry about the people, are living an era where there no comprension, not kindness, not help, there is a terrible fear of going out to the streets , and I think it will all over at some point, I think it will be as before, but still there´s no end in sight. You have always been in favor of peace, and you have done wonderful things, and I admire you, you are strong woman and you’re my Model to follow, my question is this, what can i do? how can i contribute? how can people having hope again? Yoko i send you light and love!
It is very difficult, I know. But one thing is for sure. We are all together in this mess. We will either die together, or live together. I like that thought. Hold on to that thought that we are together… that we will either survive or not survive. But we are together. I love you!

thank you for reaching out. i have several questions for you to choose from, though they’re all related. how do you feel about the ascended master teachings? do you feel that art and music as spiritual practice have the magickal power to transform and unify collective human consciousness? i’ve seen art, music and meditation bring individuals to transform and communities to unite. i do feel that there’s something to be said for the theory that when 51% of the population is in love and light, that all 100% will then come into love and light. how do you feel about this 51% theory? thank you Yoko! ♥ ♥ ♥
You said it all the right thing! Yes. I believe we will all come into love and light. I believe all of us will come into light pretty soon… without relying on the 51 percent. ALL OF US!

Hello, Yoko: I am curious about your opinion on the struggle to protect the environment from hydrofracking. Any advice/suggestions would be most appreciated! Thanks
Hydrofracking is bad. It will kill us. It’s Eco-Terroism. So why are the politicians going for it? Our good friend, Josh Fox even made a film about how bad it is. He just got threats from the ones who are doing hydrofracking, and things are slow in going the right way. But being vocal about it is helping a little. They stopped doing it New Mexico because it was “too much trouble” to do it there. They had good lawyers who stood with the people. We should all find out how they did it, and learn from it. That’s the start. How about cresting a USA top lawyers group, and ask them to look into the situation of each state about it. That might work. Lawyers also know that the health of their children are at risk.

Most crackpots keep waiting for a jackpot but that strategy rarely brings success. The common man seeks security, whereas the uncommon man seeks opportunity. Why does one person move forward with one success story after another, while others are still getting there ? Why does one man go through life crossing one hurdle after another and accomplishing his goals while another struggles and gets nowhere?
I think you are making a sweeping statement. Each person who seems to you to be slow in doing things, might be accomplishing things in important areas you are not aware of. My point is this: We are all in this together. instead of making a rash conclusion how some of us are incompetent, be kind to the seemingly incompetent ones and use the power of togetherness for the battle against eco-terrorism, which is fast destroying this beautiful country from the inside.

Hi, Alexia!!! Share your wisdom with us. We need your brain power! I hope to see you one day in person. Lots of love, yoko

YOKO, THIS MAN Jacque Fresco’s, HAS DEDICATIED HIS WHOLE LIFE TO A NEW WORLD FOR US TO LIVE IN PEACE, BUT NO ONE IN THE USA WILL LISTEN OR LOOK AT HIS ART AND DREAMS CAUSE OF HIS EDUCATION.” IMAGINE” IS WHAT HE IS ALL ABOUT AND HOPEFULLY WITH YOUR HELP SOMEONE WILL LISTEN TO HIS WONDERFUL AND AMAZING IDEAS! Joseph Martin john is a light that will never go out for all you need is love will continue to feed this light
he was a poet, songwriter, composer, a father, a champion for peace but most of all he was just a man. unlike paul m. he could feel and write a…bout pain and longing and reach the depths of dispair and somehow it was beautiful Help i need somebody, so i sing a song of love for julia, mother you had me but i never had you, women you understand the little child inside a man, i was dreaming in the past and my heart was beating fast, if you want money for people with minds that hate all i can tell you brother you’ll have to wait, war is over if you want it, no need for greed or hungar a brotherhood of man,but most of all IN MY LIFE I LOVE YOU MORE
happy birthday john you are loved and i and millions more will miss you
Yoko, your message is beautiful and we still believe in Peace.
Here in South America we fight everyday for our beliefs, our ideals, our peace motives and for the beauty of life.
Sometimes is very hard to swim against the currents, against over consumption, against the media, against the powerful and their money.
But when i saw you and your willpower to keep screaming for peace and love for everyone, i feel alive now and i’ll keep yelling and working to build a better world for us all.
Thank you Yoko. Mata ne!
Felipe Nadeau.
i need your help!…i’m in a big emotional crisis and i don’t think i’m handling too well….

Hello Yoko, thank you for being available. I was at MoMA this past weekend…I screamed and made a wish. Thanks for bringing me full circle…and thank you for your he(art). I will be thinking of you and John tomorrow. Xo jen
Hi Jen! It’s nice that you participated in the scream piece and screamed. Your scream joined all the other screams of that piece performed in MOMA, and is sending out a strong vibration and making a strong statement to the world. love, yoko
Many years ago in NY you and John did a TV show on channel 13 which I attended. I have never heard anything relating to this show. Could you please let me know why.
Love and God Bless
That show still exists as a video and is played once in awhile by the TV station.
My next cd with my poems / music will be dedicated to you and John. This because of the good vibes you’re givin’ to the world. More than thanks, and with lovin’ greetings from The Netherlands,

HI Yoko,
I am doing a write up on Cut Piece. I was wondering what is a message or representation you were trying to say with this piece?
Thanks,
Kallie
There are many layers of statements in that piece. It is not just one. yoko
Thank you for the answers that you shared to me especially about questions related when you were expecting a baby with John.. One of my favorites is you are craving meat and cabbage and about morning sickness.. hope if you don’t mind I could post some questions that was bugging in my head. it is all about Sean when he was not yet born (I mean inside your womb)… again thank you…

Yoko, God bless you, love nessus
