Come Together by John LennonAn exhibit of John Lennon’s drawings opened Thursday, on what would have been the musician’s 68th birthday. 

The legendary co-founder of the Beatles was born in Liverpool, England, in 1940. He was shot to death outside his Upper West Side home on December 8, 1980.

On Thursday, more than 100 of Lennon’s drawings went on display at the Openhouse Gallery in NoLita.

The show, called “Imagine Peace: A Look Into John Lennon’s Life Through His Artwork,” will run through Sunday.
